Ferry County is on the northern border of the state of Washington. At the 2010 census, the population of Ferry County was 7,551. It is the fourth-least populous county in Washington. The county sear and largest city is Republic. The county is named for Elisha P. Ferry, the state’s first governor and was officially created in 1899.

County Jail Information

There are 9 corrections employees to contain a capacity of 40 inmates. The jail is a medium customer adult facility renovated in 2003. For deposits into an inmates account, you will need the inmate’s name booking number and facility code which is W48. Call 888-277-2735 if you have questions.

Visiting hours are on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Identification will be needed before speaking to an inmate. You can also send calls to an inmate from the jail by calling the Customer Service Center at 866-476-6723 form 7:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for assistance.
